Editorial Policies
-
Open Access Policy: In alignment with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), the journal provides immediate, free, and open access to its content.
-
Management and Evaluation Criteria: The entire submission, evaluation, and publication process is strictly free of charge. Approved articles are published following criteria of exogeny and chronological order of submission, with the exception of invited authors and thematic dossiers. Editorial screening assesses merit, methodological approach, and contribution to current debates. Manuscripts undergo a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure impartial treatment. The journal strictly adheres to the transparency principles and best practices recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), actively preventing plagiarism and scientific misconduct.
-
Academic Responsibility and Institutional Affiliation: The content of the published articles is the sole responsibility of the authors. The opinions and conclusions expressed do not necessarily reflect the institutional position of the journal's sponsoring institution, the Escola Superior de Advocacia da Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil – São Paulo Section (ESA OAB/SP) [ROR ID: https://ror.org/01pyqzs80].

Digital Preservation and Accessibility: Our archives are digitally preserved by the IBICT Cariniana Network (based on LOCKSS), ensuring permanent access to the content even in the event of system outages. Furthermore, we adopt strict accessibility standards, requiring descriptive Alternative Text (Alt Text) for all visual elements to guarantee inclusive legal scholarship. Authors are encouraged to deposit the final versions of their articles in institutional repositories.
