Revista ESASP – Revista Científica Virtual da Escola Superior de Advocacia da OAB/SP invites authors to submit papers (articles, essays, and reviews) under a rolling submission policy (continuous flow). For the Articles and Dossier sections, at least one of the authors must hold a PhD or be a PhD candidate. For the Book Reviews and Interviews sections, at least one of the authors must hold a Specialist degree. All submissions must be original and unpublished.
1.1. Peer Review (Double-Blind)
Initial screening (Desk Review) followed by evaluation by at least two external ad hoc reviewers. The editorial workflow includes the following stages:

Desk Review: The Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editor conducts a preliminary analysis to verify scope suitability, compliance with editorial standards, and manuscript originality.

External Review: Manuscripts approved in the screening are sent to two external ad hoc reviewers, specialists in the field, without author identification.

Reports and Editorial Decision: Based on the reviews, the decision may be:

Acceptance without revisions

Acceptance with mandatory revisions

Submission to a new round of evaluation

Rejection In case of conflicting reports, an additional review may be requested. Reviewers must declare no conflicts of interest and maintain confidentiality regarding the content. Editorial decisions are based exclusively on scientific quality, academic relevance, and adherence to the journal's scope.

2. Manuscript Preparation
Technical compliance is a prerequisite for evaluation.

2.1. Format and Standards: File in .docx (Microsoft Word). Text must follow ABNT standards (NBR 6022, 6023, and 10520). Length: 15 to 25 pages.

ORCID: Mandatory for all authors. Register at orcid.org.

ROR (Institutional Affiliation): Use of the ROR search engine integrated into the OJS system is mandatory. In the "Institution/Affiliation" field, select your institution's official name from the dropdown list.

2.3. Anonymization: The .docx file must not contain names or authorship metadata to ensure the integrity of the blind review.

2.4. Accessibility (Alt Text): All visual elements must include descriptive Alternative Text inserted in the original file.
3. Editorial Independence Statement
Revista ESASP ensures full editorial independence. Evaluation and publication are based solely on academic, scientific, and ethical criteria, without institutional, political, or financial interference. Authors affiliated with the institution undergo the same double-blind process.
4. Submission Requirements (Checklist)
[ ] Originality: The work is original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.
[ ] Format: The file is in .docx and is not an image or scanned PDF.
[ ] Standardization: The text fully follows ABNT standards and journal guidelines.
[ ] Anonymization: I confirm I have removed all authorship identification from the text and file properties.
[ ] ORCID: ORCID IDs for all authors have been provided in the metadata.
[ ] Affiliation (ROR): I selected the correct institutional affiliation via the ROR search tool.
[ ] Rights and License: I agree with the Copyright Statement and CC BY 4.0 license.
