Open Access and Copyright Policies
The ESASP Journal – Virtual Scientific Journal of the Superior School of Law of OAB/SP is an Open Access publication, which means that all its content is available free of charge, immediately upon publication, and at no cost to the user or their institution.
No-Fee Policy (Diamond Open Access)
Aligned with the commitment of ESA OAB/SP to the dissemination of legal knowledge, the journal adopts the "Diamond" (or "Platinum") Open Access model. This ensures that:
-
For Readers: All published content (articles, reviews, editorials) is free, open, and immediate. There are no subscription fees or embargo periods.
-
For Authors: There are no charges for submission, processing, or publication of articles (known as APCs - Article Processing Charges).

Authors retain full copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.

Repository Deposit and Self-Archiving Policy
In strict alignment with international Open Science guidelines, the ESASP Journal adopts the highest level of self-archiving policy, holding the Green classification in the Diadorim (IBICT) directory. We authorize and actively encourage authors to deposit their work on personal web pages, institutional repositories, or thematic repositories. This authorization is unrestricted, with no embargo period, and covers both the original submitted version (Pre-print) and the final editorial version (Post-print / Publisher's PDF). Deposits for both versions can be made at the time of official publication to ensure the maximum democratization and rapid dissemination of legal knowledge.
Digital Preservation and Archiving Policy
Committed to the memory and security of scientific heritage, the ESASP Journal ensures the long-term digital preservation of its entire collection. To achieve this, the journal is integrated into the Cariniana Network, the national digital preservation network coordinated by IBICT (Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology). Through the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) protocol, we guarantee the distributed and permanent archiving of our metadata and publications across a network of partner libraries. This system ensures continuous, uninterrupted, and authentic access to the articles, safeguarding them against loss even in the event of technical instability on the original portal.
