Civil Code reform, the myth of the "mini" spouse, and combating gender inequality

    Abstract

    The article analyzes the proposed amendments to the Brazilian Civil Code regarding Succession Law and Family Law, refuting the myth of the "mini" spouse. The author argues that the proposed changes promote the requalification of succession rights for spouses and partners, aiming to combat gender inequality and value domestic work and the woman's double burden.
