    Abstract

    The article analyzes the proposed amendments to the Brazilian Civil Code regarding kinship and socio-affective parenthood. It discusses the legal repercussions of recognizing multi-parenthood and the judicial process required for recognizing the socio-affective filiation of children and adolescents, contrasting it with the extrajudicial route available for those over eighteen.
