Causa mortis succession of copyrights in current times

The present study aims to reflect on the succession of copyrights in view of the extensive term granted to relatives for the exploitation of works. These points arise from the collision between two fundamental rights: the heirs' right to succession for a period of seventy years and the right to knowledge. The study questions which of these rights should prevail in contemporary society and the need to reformulate succession laws.
