      Abstract

      The article analyzes the paradigm shift in Brazilian Labor Law with the introduction of articles 611-A and 611-B of the CLT by Law No. 13,467/2017. The authors explore the thesis established by the STF in Theme 1.046, which validated the prevalence of collective norms over the law, provided that absolutely unavailable rights are respected. Challenges for trade unions and the need for balance between collective private autonomy and the protection of the vulnerable worker are discussed.
