    Abstract

    The text introduces the 47th edition of the ESA OAB SP Virtual Scientific Journal, dedicated to analyzing the proposed updates to the Brazilian Civil Code. The organizer details the 18 articles in the collection, covering topics such as the legal status of animals, digital identity, the right to be forgotten, civil liability, family law, inheritance, and digital assets.       Academic Coordinator of the Superior School of Law of São Paulo. Post-Doctor from the Faculty of Law of the University of São Paulo (FDUSP). PhD and Master's in Economic History from the University of São Paulo (USP). Specialist in Labor Economics from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) and in Labor Law from USP. Bachelor's and Licentiate degree in History (USP). Licentiate degree in Geography (UnB). Bachelor's in Social Sciences (USP) and in Law (USP).
