The research aims to explain domestic and family violence and detail the five forms provided for in Article 7 of the Maria da Penha Law: physical, psychological, sexual, patrimonial, and moral. It addresses the historical context of Law 11,340/2006, related international treaties, and the cycle of violence — composed of tension, explosion, and "honeymoon" phases — aiming to assist in identifying and breaking abusive relationships.
