Free Justice in Labor Reform: Interpretation in Light of the Principles of Free Conviction, Access to Justice, Solidarity, and Human Dignity and the "Tired Eyes"

Using Oto Lara Resende's chronicle "Vista Cansada" (Tired Eyes) as a metaphor, the author criticizes the trivialization of the legal perspective on vulnerability post-reform. The article analyzes the new requirements for granting free justice (Art. 790, §§ 3 and 4 of the CLT), arguing that the excessive focus on revenue and combating litigation cannot obscure the constitutional principle of access to justice. It advocates for an interpretation that prioritizes human dignity and social solidarity over purely arithmetic criteria. (Received: July 2025 | Accepted: September 2025).
