    Abstract

    The article critically analyzes the effects of the 2017 Labor Reform, focusing on the rise of work via digital platforms. It investigates how the flexibility of Law No. 13,467/2017 and algorithmic control contributed to precariousness, transforming the worker into a social "just-in-time." The author discusses the mismatch between promises of job creation and the reality of "uberization," advocating for the need for regulation that guarantees fundamental rights and human dignity against the sovereignty of algorithms.       Post-doctoral fellow at the University of Bologna. PhD and Master in Labor Law and Social Security Law from USP. Professor of Labor Procedural Law and Compliance at FDSBC. Labor Judge. Researcher at NTADT/USP and holder of Chair 07 of the Brazilian Academy of Social Security Law.
